Compliance in Action: Workplace Compliance

The Center for Workplace Compliance in 2018 launched the first microlearning course in its Compliance in Action series, Workplace Harassment. I designed and managed the development of the 15-minute course, which uses a puzzle analogy and real-life scenarios to explain unlawful harassment at work and how to address and prevent it.

A former coworker described me as a “builder.” Whether it’s courses, training programs, policies and procedures, teams, or business relationships, I dive into challenges with enthusiasm and create opportunities to achieve goals and drive performance.

With 15+ years of experience in learning development, I’ve designed and delivered transformative training programs across corporate, nonprofit, and government sectors.   

My expertise includes creating in-person, virtual, e-learning, microlearning, and blended solutions. I specialize in applying adult learning principles and modern training platforms to inspire learners and improve operational and management excellence.

In my leisure time, I volunteer at the Washington English Center teaching English online to adult immigrants, research my family tree, read (mostly history), play the Irish drum, and keep physically active.
